1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing or using Opus Team's services, website (opusteam.io), or Facebook community, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part, don't use our services.

2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Opus Team provides:

Professional speaker placement services ($800/month)

Connection to speaking opportunities at events

Facebook community for speakers

Educational content and resources

Application and matching services

We do NOT guarantee speaking engagements or specific results.

3. ELIGIBILITY
You must be:

At least 18 years old

Legally able to enter contracts

A professional speaker or aspiring speaker

Truthful in all information provided

4. MEMBERSHIP AND FEES

4.1 Monthly Membership

$800/month recurring subscription

Billed monthly in advance

No refunds for partial months

Price subject to change with 30 days notice

4.2 What's Included:

Active promotion to event organizers

Listing in our speaker database

Access to private Facebook group

Monthly opportunity updates

Application support

4.3 What's NOT Included:

Travel expenses

Speaking fees negotiation

Guaranteed bookings

Legal or contract services

5. CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancel anytime with 30 days written notice

Email cancellations to: [email protected]

No refunds for current month

Access continues through paid period

6. USER OBLIGATIONS

You agree to:

Provide accurate, current information

Maintain professional standards

Respond promptly to opportunities

Not misrepresent your experience

Honor bookings made through our service

Keep login credentials secure

Not spam or harass community members

7. SPEAKING OPPORTUNITIES

7.1 No Guarantees
We don't guarantee:

Number of opportunities

Acceptance for events

Speaking fees

Event quality

7.2 Your Responsibilities

Negotiate your own fees

Arrange travel and logistics

Deliver quality presentations

Handle your own taxes

Maintain appropriate insurance

7.3 Our Role
We only facilitate introductions. All agreements are between you and event organizers.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

8.1 Your Content
You retain rights to your:

Speaker reels and videos

Presentation materials

Biography and headshots

Testimonials

By uploading, you grant us license to use for promotional purposes.

8.2 Our Content
We own all:

Website design and content

Training materials

Proprietary systems

Branding and trademarks

Client lists

9. FACEBOOK GROUP RULES

In our Facebook community:

No spam or self-promotion outside designated posts

Be respectful and professional

No poaching of opportunities

Share knowledge generously

Report inappropriate behavior

Follow Facebook's Community Standards

Violations may result in removal without refund.

10. PROHIBITED USES

You may NOT:

Resell or share your membership

Scrape or copy member data

Use service for illegal purposes

Impersonate others

Harass members or staff

Share confidential opportunity details

Circumvent our introduction process

11. TERMINATION

We may terminate your account for:

Non-payment

Terms violations

Unprofessional behavior

Misrepresentation

Legal requirements

At our discretion with 30 days notice

12. DISCLAIMERS

Services provided without warranties of any kind.

12.2 No Professional Advice
We don't provide legal, tax, or business advice.

12.3 Third-Party Events
We're not responsible for:

Event cancellations

Payment disputes

Event quality

Travel issues

Contract disputes

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Our total liability is limited to your last month's membership fee. We're not liable for:

Lost profits or opportunities

Indirect or consequential damages

Third-party actions

Force majeure events

14. INDEMNIFICATION

You'll defend and indemnify us from claims arising from:

Your use of services

Your speaking engagements

Content you provide

Violation of these Terms

Violation of laws

15. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

15.1 Informal Resolution
First, try to resolve disputes directly with us.

15.2 Arbitration
Unresolved disputes go to binding arbitration in Lincoln, California.

15.3 Exceptions
Small claims court and injunctive relief excluded.

16. GENERAL PROVISIONS

16.1 Governing Law
California law governs these Terms.

16.2 Entire Agreement
These Terms are the complete agreement.

16.3 Modifications
We may update Terms with 30 days notice.

16.4 Severability
Invalid provisions don't affect other Terms.

You represent that:

You have necessary skills claimed

20.2 Commission
We don't take commission from your speaking fees.

21. REFUND POLICY

No refunds after service begins

Prorated refunds for service issues at our discretion
